Industry Report: Brand Name Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in the US

As you read about your industry,
what did you find most interesting?
What I found
most interesting was that despite this being about brand named manufacturing I
am not familiar with any of the names.
This is in sharp contrast with any other brand name industry that I
would have at least heard of one of the most important ones.

What questions do you now want to
explore further in your project?
I want to know
if any of the drugs I take are actually produced by each of these
companies. More specifically what
products do each of these companies make

What initial thoughts do you have
about the future of this industry?
I think that
this industry is going to stay pretty much the same. The reason for this thought is that there will always be
about the same need for medicine unless diseases are cured.

Matt, it was very interesting to see that you weren't able to familiarize yourself with an of the brands in the industry. Even though the industry is based on brand name and product differentiation. It seems though that the industry runs on being non-branded then. I feel like the industry is changing towards a more ayurvedic products and people are realizing the side effects of pharmaceuticals industry products. What do you think?
